Membership in the Hospitaller Order of the Mystical Rose is a sacred calling to a life of service, compassion, and spiritual devotion. Members of the Order are united by a shared vocation: to serve the sick, the vulnerable, and all who seek solace—whether in body, mind, or spirit. Inspired by the image of the Mystical Rose, symbolising divine love unfolding in beauty and sacrifice, members commit themselves to being instruments of peace, healing, and reconciliation in the world.

 

Who May Apply

Membership is open to all individuals who:

Demonstrate a sincere commitment to compassionate service

Are willing to live by the spiritual values and ethos of the Order

Respect the inclusive and sacramental life of the Church

Seek to deepen their personal spiritual journey

The Order is intentionally inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds, life experiences, and stages of faith.

 

Expressions of Membership

The Order may include several forms of membership, allowing individuals to participate according to their vocation and capacity:

- Lay members committed to the spirit of hospitality and prayer

- Those actively engaged in pastoral care, outreach, or charitable works

- Individuals who take formal promises reflecting stability, service, and spiritual discipline

- Ordained ministers who integrate the charism of the Order into sacramental and pastoral ministry

 

Each level reflects a deepening commitment, though all share equal dignity within the life of the Order.

 

The Hospitaller Order of the Mystical Rose is more than a structure—it is a living community. Members support one another through fellowship, shared prayer, and mutual encouragement, forming a network of care that extends beyond boundaries.
